Lootah BCGas LLC is a UAE/Canada Joint Venture, formed in 1997 to participate in gas transmission and distribution related opportunities in the UAE. We are today viewed as the leading comprehensive operating ‘Gas Utility’ in Dubai with active branches in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

We have to our credit the Sharjah Gas Distribution Project, the first of its kind in the entire Gulf region that involved the construction of three pressure reducing stations and comprises over 1000 km of gas distribution mains, and services to over 70,000 customers. With over 1,000 successful gas-related contracts in UAE, we are the key gas services provider to Emaar, Nakheel, Al Futtaim and other developers, with assignments comprising of projects such as the Burj Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Festival City.

Lootah BCGas also provides high quality natural gas and LPG piping systems for new residential and commercial buildings in the UAE (vertical subdivisions), maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Central LPG and SNG Distribution systems are built to North American and British Standards and are designed to be convertible to natural gas when supply becomes available in the future.

Recent contracts for natural gas distribution network in Tanzania and Turkey, technology transfer and training project in Iran and operation and management of the gas transmission network in Oman highlight our regional expansion drive. Our local knowledge, international expertise and regional reach have made us the undisputed leaders in the gas transmission and distribution industry in the region today.
